This is edition from the American Bible Society is the one that my own congregation has given as a gift each year to third-graders for use in Sunday School classes.  The CEV is written with elementary-aged vocabulary, making it easier for children to read aloud in class.  This particular edition is colorful, with child-appropriate illustrations, and contains additional student helps.  It is a good "first Bible" for kids.
