Sola Publishing is pleased to offer three series for confirmation, each teaching Scripture and Catechism from an orthodox Lutheran perspective, but in different formats suitable to various age-levels and programs:

Bible-Alive Series (C-6000's)
Written by Pastor Kent Groethe, the books in this series are recommended as first-year or "pre-confirmation" units, and are especially suited to congregations using an earlier and longer approach to Confirmation. Written in a student workbook style, each booklet also features a accompanying teacher's guide. Aimed at 6th-8th Grade level, the straight-forward and easy-to-use format works particularly well in small group settings.

Sola Confirmation Series (C-7000's)
Written by Pastor Steven King, Sola's core Confirmation series is currently in development and being released as a beta test version for the 2011-2012 school year. Written in an "old school" work-book style, each lesson includes: object lessons, illustrations, catechism memory, and Bible study. Aimed at 8th-9th Grade level, the four core books in the series have ten sessions each. Experiencing Real Living (C-7500's)
Written by Pastor Harley Schmitt, this series provides a 12-session overview of the themes of Scripture and the Catechism, all in one series.  The sessions combine large-group presentations and small group discussion.  Each session in the Particpant's Book features a picture diagram focusing on the theme; the accompanying leader's guide includes a disk with powerpoint presentations. The material can be used with confirmation and high school youth, or for adult confirmation classes.
