A Bible Study for Mature Adults
by Pastor Brad Hales
As the subtitle indicates, this Bible study was written for mature adults. That is, it bears in mind the unique perspective of those who have seen many years in their relationship with God, and may wonder how faith can speak anew to their daily lives. The simple, straightforward questions offered for discussion focus on Scripture texts that address some particular concerns of older Christians.
The study would be well-suited for use in retirement communities and nursing home settings, or for groups of older adults within a congregation. Seven sessions (16 pages). The type is in clear large print.
The author of the study, the Rev. Brad Hales, has done extensive work and ministry in the area of older adult ministry, and has earned a certificate in aging ministry from Anderson Seminary. He serves as a Lutheran pastor in Culpeper, Virginia.
